Freedom Challenge - Final Images

That's it! This is my entry for pixologic's artwork contest "Freedom Challenge".

When I thought about the theme of the challenge, the only thing that came to my mind was Janis Joplin singing "freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose" (Me and Bobby McGee) So I based the concept of this character on these words... and that's the result! Hope you like it!

And here is the first low poly turntable!! Next step work on cleaning up the mesh and optimize uvs...

And here is another WIP image. This time just testing some ideas...

Now that we have a base, let's go to the accessories...

pants on!! let''s go to the feet...

All right, another WIP! this time working on the clothes...

Hi again,

Freedom Challenge - first image

Hi everyone!

Here is the first image of a new character! This one is for Pixologic's 3D challenge. The theme this time is simply Freedom

The idea I had for the character is "Freedom = Nothing to lose". I got it from Janis Joplin's song (Me and Bobby McGee) and the visual will be something between a hippie and a hitchhiker... (I hope so :P)

And here is the first WIP Image! There is still a long long way forward, but I hope I'll be able to finish this one in time too...

 Hope you like it!!
